Rich Roste

PROFILE:
Award winning sportscaster Rich Roste is entering his ninth year as the "Voice of the Sioux Falls Storm" and his twenty-eighth season of sportscasting overall. Following the 2005 season the voting members of United Indoor Football unanimously voted Rich the UIF Sportscaster of the Year. During his career Rich has worked not only in radio but has also done play-by-play for television in the Sioux Falls market. Known by many as "The Silver Fox", Rich has endeared himself to Storm fans with his high energy broadcasts and his signature phrase, "Holy, Help Me, Hannah!!" whenever the Storm has a spectacular play or touchdown. Whether the Storm is at home or on the road Rich will be there to call all of the play-by-play action.

Rich is also the host of the Kurtiss Riggs Show each Wednesday at 5:45 PM on Sports Radio AM 1230, KWSN. This hour long show features the head coach of the Storm Kurtiss Riggs visiting with Rich about the previous week's game along with the game's radio highlights and also Storm player interviews, and a scouting report of the Storm's next opponent.

The Sioux Falls Storm and Backyard Broadcasting are teaming up again to bring you the hard hitting action of Storm football in 2008. The Storm will partner with KOOL 107.9 FM to be the home of the Storm. Roste will be joined again this year by Shawn "Bubba" Bryant for play-by-play action on KOOL 107.9. This will mark the first season that all Storms games will be broadcast on KOOL.

In addition to the radio broadcasts Storm games will be available as a web cast throughout the world. Go to the Storm web site, www.siouxfallsstorm.com and click the "Listen live" link.
