Lightning Girls

The 2008 Lightning Girls team is comprised of 13 talented ladies ranging in ages 18 to 26. These dedicated ladies, including professionals, businesswomen, educators and full time students are recognized as the premier dance team in the region and Sioux Falls community. When not working, rehearsing, or performing on the field, the Lightning Girls stay busy within the Sioux Empire Community through local volunteer opportunities and charitable events.

This year's team consists of 13 members, 12 of which are returning veterans. Veterans include, Nickole, Valerie, Stephanie, Tari, Maria, Debbie, Amber, Ashley, Marlena, Kirsten, Megan and Rachelle. This year's rookie is Catie.

The Lighting Girls take pride in projecting a modern, clean, professional image. The choreography is fresh, demanding and energetic for fans of all ages who attend "The Storm Shelter". The Lightning Girls put in numerous hours of practice to be one of the premier dance team in the UIF.

With their winning personalities, attractive uniforms, intricate dance performances and enthusiastic sidelines, the Lightning Girls are sure to make your game day experience enjoyable and entertaining to watch.
