Treasure will also be entering his second season with the Storm. Treasure played in five games for the Storm in 2007 compiling 136 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Treasure also added a receiving touchdown during the season. Treasure scored all of his touchdowns in the regular season finale against Billings. He led the team in rushing with 51 yards and caught two passes for 15 yards against the Outlaws.
In only two seasons of play at Minnesota State University-Mankato (MSU), Treasure is 9th in career rushing yards (1,944) and 8th in career all purpose yards (3,196) in team history. The elusive Treasure holds MSU single season records for all-purpose yards (1,926) and kickoff return yardage (602). The 2004 and 2005 All-American ran 190 times for 743 yards and 11 TDs, during his senior season in 2005.
The 6'1" 195lb all-purpose back was named to the 2004 and 2005 All-North Central Conference (NCC) Second Teams, 2005 Magnolia Bowl 1-AA Roster, as well as numerous all-region first teams. Treasure became the first Maverick running back to be a Harlon Hill Award regional finalist as well as the first Maverick junior to be recognized in the balloting of the Harlon Hill Award, given to the top football player at the Division II level.
