In two seasons with the Storm, he has 64 total tackles to go along with two interceptions. McIntire finished his rookie year with the Storm in 2006 with 30.5 total tackles, two interceptions, and one fumble recovery.

A 2004 NCAA Division III All-American, McIntire led Wartburg College to three consecutive Iowa Conference Championships from 2002-2004. He led the Knights in tackles with 88 in 2003 followed by 75 in 2004. The Clear Lake, IA native also compiled six interceptions and five sacks during his final two seasons at Wartburg.
