Alberty will be entering his second season for the Storm. He played in 3 games in 2007. The former Maverick racked up 107 receiving yards and 1 touchdown for one of the best receiving corps in the UIF.
Alberty saw time at both wide receiver and running back with the Mavericks. Alberty wrapped up his senior season in 2006 with 62 receptions for 635 yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. He also led the Mavericks in rushing with a total of 303 yards rushing on 75 attempts. He finished second on the team in all-purpose yards and received All-NCC Second Team honors. Alberty transferred to MSU in 2005, but didnt see action. Alberty attended Texas A&M-Commerce in 2004 where he accumulated 20 receptions for 155 yards and a touchdown. Alberty also spent time at Pierce College and Valley Community College before arriving at Texas A&M-Commerce.
