Yatarrie (pronounced Yuh-tar-ee) will be entering his second season with the Storm and third season of indoor football. In 2007, he played a huge part in the offensive line that set Storm records for points (739) and rushing yards (1,196) in a season. Brown had a great year in 2007 and was rewarded by being named a 2007 UIF All-Star. Brown started his indoor career by starting for the Peoria Roughriders of the UIF during the 2006 season.
Brown played his collegiate football at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. The 2005 season brought numerous accolades to Brown as he was named to the All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) First-Team as well as Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-Region Second Team. Brown was also named to the Daktronics All-Region Second Team. Brown led the Bears to rushing success in 2005 as the team accumulated a team record 2,867 yards. The Bears ranked 11th in Division II in rushing yards. The Bear offensive line also held opponents to just 17 sacks during their 9-3 season. Yatarrie played in 9 games in 2003 at Concordia before taking his redshirt year in 2004.
