Dusty Hovorka will be returning for his second season of professional indoor football with the Storm. Last season, Hovorka played in one game for the Storm and caught two passes for 13 yards.

Hovorka was a three-time All-American selection and is the only receiver in USF history to record over 1,000 receiving yards as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior. Hovorka set a USF single season record for touchdowns receiving by scoring 19 times on the way to the national championship in 2006. Hovorka added 76 receptions and 1,304 yards during the 2006 campaign. The 6'2" 205 lb receiver tallied a record 291 receptions during his career with the Cougars. Hovorka also accounted for 4,801 yards and 55 touchdowns in his Cougar career, which are also USF and Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) records. Hovorka was named to the All-GPAC First Team in 2004, 2005, and 2006 and was named to the Associated Press Little America Third-Team after the 2006 season.
